NEW: DOJ has an audio recording & transcript of the interview it conducted with Ghislaine Maxwell last month that the administration is considering releasing publicly, three senior administration officials told @cnn
LOL. Totally not going to be edited all over the place.
It doesn't need to be edited, beyond cutting out the first bit where they go, "Look, Ghislaine, we'll move you to a low-security prison if you say the right things... nudge, nudge, wink, wink"
What happens if Tulip Siddiq MP is predictably convicted in Bangladesh, will she be allowed to continue as an MP? Her Hampstead Highgate seat could be in play for Labour, Greens, Lib Dems or Reform.
Bangladesh does not, I believe, have an extradition treaty with the UK. Bangladesh can ask the UK government to send them Siddiq and the UK can say no. If they say no, nothing happens. Siddiq continues to live her life as before. The recall of MPs act isn't triggered.

In theory, it is only crimes where you are convicted in the UK that will result in action, so could try to tough it out. But realistically can you do so? I don't think you can. The Labour party won't be able to have anything to do with her so all support will be withdrawn. It is why punchy mcpunchy had to go despite his sentence being short enough that he in theory could tough it out.
Labour could kick her out, but she could continue to sit as an independent MP.
An Associated Press/ NORC Center for Public Affairs Research poll released today shows that 86% of American adults report that the cost of groceries is a source of stress, with 53% saying it causes “major” stress. Only 14% of adults say the cost of groceries is not a source of stress for them.
Letters from an American.
No wonder Trump is already trying to rig the midterms.
NORCs?

What on earth is Corbyn doing writing to the Telegraph?
It was a good article and, as a fellow allotment holder, I found myself in some sympathy.
Then I remembered Jezza's refusal, when LOTO, to contribute a few words to mark the cartoonist Matt's 30th anniversary, on the grounds that he had never found him funny. There will always be something small, mean and ignorant about Corbyn IMHO.
This story endears me a little to Corbyn. There's something a bit pompous about Matt and Corbyn not buying into the adulation is slightly amusing.
Did it have anything to do with all the people leading the Epping protests associated with The Homeland Party, Britain First, Blood and Honour, former Combat 18, former BNP, former National Front, British Democrats ... ?
(Clue: if you don't want to be described as a fascist, don't go to demonstrations they are running.)
You really DO need to wake up and smell some coffee.
Even the one in Ashfield, which was basically peaceful, was largely provoked by a guy called Alan Leggett, who was a sidekick of Ten Prison Terms Tommy, before he tried to go on his own.

On allotments, it's worth a note that it is 8 allotment plots, not 8 allotments.
One site is in Ashfield and two in Bolsover. I have slight doubts about the whole thing, as I can't find anything about the Ashfield one saying it is being sold, and I don't think it is Council owned. OTOH, "Kingsway" is a common name, so there could be more than one or confusion.

A can comes every time with the £10 deal from my local Chinese TA.
Also, prawn crackers. I now have a door-shelf of Diet Coke in the fridge.
Which divot invented these things?
