Well that's hardly surprising. I will never have a hybrid nor an electric car unless I am priced out fuel. I won't be or very much doubt i will be driving in 2050.

I am very bearish on autonomous driving - at least in the level-5 category, which is the really useful one. We're nowhere near it yet for most purposes, despite what Musky Baby says.
It's worth looking at some example drives with FSD 12.3.6. Admittedly it's California and I think it would have problems in English country roads and say Italy. That's Whole Mars Catalog... a MuskyBaby/Tesla hype channel that I reckon just exists to ramp their shares. There are plenty of videos of FSD failing, as well.
It's true that Whole Mars Catalog (Omar) is obsessed with Tesla but I think it's unfair to accuse him of ramping Tesla shares. He gets the latest FSD changes early and is prepared to point out problems, which can be addressed by feeding the video into Tesla's AI. Of course there are plenty of videos showing FSD failing but much fewer with the AI version (12) than previous ones. There are also videos of humans making bad decisions when driving cars. If, a big if of course, Tesla can get the accident rate say twice as good as humans that would be a worthwhile achievement. I'm sure you have an open mind so search for FSD 12.3.6 (or higher releases are coming out every few weeks) and see what you think.

He's absolutely shilling for Tesla. And that's the problem with these videos: they're highly selective.
I'm not saying it's not a great achievement (although they might well be behind competitors...), but these hype channels are next to useless to get real information on the status of the tech.
Edit: also note you say that he gets the latest FSD changes early. Do you really believe someone on such a program would be fully open and vocal about issues found, especially given MuskyBaby's past actions?

I know people often say that regulations have gone mad, but here they might have a point...
Councils are useless. All the signs on the A31 to Guildford from Farnham and the A331 from Farnham to Farnborough are still hilariously overgrown, and no-one has done anything about it.
I can only imagine they're trapped by a framework contractor, budget or due process and simply can't orchestrate a way for it to be done.
I do recall Natalie Elphicke having some "form" on housing issues from the Coalition days and somebody else yesterday mentioned her contributions to the Levelling Up Committee so this once again blurs the tired old cliches of "left" and "right".
Wanting decent housing for everyone isn't a "left" or "right" thing - there's argument about the means but not the ends and hopefully a recognition across the political spectrum sacred cows on both sides will have to go to make it happen.
It may be while playing no kind of front-facing public role, Elphicke can bring some ideas and suggestions to any future Labour Government for whom housing will be, if not top priority then very high up the agenda.
