I used to. But to be honest it is bloody expensive and when you factor in all the waiting times at each airport you are not much worse off taking the train or driving. At least with those two options I am not limited on weight and I always carry far too many books

Really? Seems like a bunch of Tories in charge as usual, representing the ruling class and oligarchies. They've simply ditched most of those with a shed of scruples or principles.
Governments are like the banks of rivers. It can look like nothing has changed but erosion, once it has happened, cannot easily be undone. The path of the river, slowly but surely, begins to change.
Countries and institutions are the same. Which is why the UK is totally screwed. It's been happening for decades. This latest crock is merely symptomatic.
