    I guess the point about the Save Dave letter is that if he has the support of 84 Leavers then there's no point trying to 22 him as he'd win the vote of confidence easily (and then you've shot your bolt).

    Come off it, we can all make projections! Presumably if you go far enough - standard deviations or whatever - they would have been projecting a Labour win! I'm not being facetious, they did a decent job, but they were 13 seats short for the Tories. 2010 was more accurate I think.

    I know it's incredibly shallow, but the personalities involved, on both sides, have really affected my decision making on this vote.

    Don't be misled by the 'Save Dave' letter. Dave is toast, the only question being the timing before the slice pops up. He has, after all, already said he's going. If his side wins the referendum, he'll go out on a high, but he's still going, in the not-too-distant future.

    Instead, this is about unifying the party for the next leader, and also about manoeuvring to be the unifying figure, amongst the would-be successors. Boris, for example, absolutely needs to get the support of Remainers and Cameroons, if he's to have any chance. Of course he's making a big show of being loyal. He would, wouldn't he? There's nothing to lose by protesting your loyalty at this stage, and everything to lose by appearing to be disloyal.

    Okay Sky is really pissing me off talking about EU funding for all these different parts of the UK. Its not EU funding. Its UK taxpayers money laundered back to us via the EU.

    Yes, they never tell you how much that means us in the South East are having to contribute to make up the difference.

    IndyRef mirrored the voting patterns of a general election. Everything that seems to be known about this says its not going to work that way in this vote. As you said earlier, polling using the GE voting as a basis for weighting is going to be wrong.
