Not that impressed by the SNP today. Obviously, they have to present a best case scenario, but there are so many holes in their arguments about issues such as Sterling and EU membership. As Richard N says below, they have had plenty of time to work through these things but have not managed to come up with any convincing answers. That is a poor show.
The SNP are well used to having the con-dems labour and almost all of the press against them.
So why the heck did they launch their White Paper in front of the press and not in Parliament where at least they'd have some on their side? The stage management sucked.
Sour grapes from Scotland hater. It is their white paper, their vision for Scotland assuming they get elected after the YES vote. Done with style and no question unanswered.
no question unanswered
Really?
You can't see past your Eck-worship to spot constructive criticism - why do you think a hostile press was a better audience than a partially appreciative parliament?
Did you see them strike any blows, no their questions were answered fully and they sat back down like lambs.
"I'll defend the government on this . It's bollocks......."
I completely agree. I spent last week in Aberdeen with some serious lefties and who also happened to be doctors so I'm relatively up to speed on medical issues-at least in Scotland. My tongue in cheek point was that it's time Hunt stopped trying to score points. It not only really irritates those of us who are receiving NHS treatment or who have family who are but it's also a game for any number of players as the wretched Hunt Is about to find out.
I was quite in favour of Scottish independence up until my sojourn in Aberdeen but have reluctantly come to the conclusion that it's deeply embedded in right wing nationalism which no self respecting socialist-champagne or otherwise-should countenance.

Right wing you say? Were they shouting "British jobs for British workers" at you woger?
It appears that unnecessary deaths increased last year by 27% over the year before. Perhaps we can look forward to Jeremy Hunt making his daily appearance on TV to explain why. It seems Tory disregard for the poor and the elderly is the main reason.
A few years before the coalition there was an even greater number of excess deaths. Your point is?

We should be allowed to vote the Scots out of the union, on our terms.
How are relations with Donald Trump these days? *Titter*
*tears of laughter etc.*
But the Crown Prosecution Service said there was insufficient evidence to show that the officer at Downing Street's gate lied in his account.

Don't think so.
Hypocrisy and anecdote from the PB little Ed's?
