It is perhaps worth remembering that for a 40 year period, until David Cameron was elected, the Tories made a point of choosing as leaders those who were from more humble backgrounds. So general election winners Heath, Thatcher, and Major all went to state schools – the latter not even going to university.

We should also remember that the betting markets usually get things notoriously wrong. They might have Mogg as favourite to succeed May but almost certainly he will not.
Leavers tend to accuse Remain as being the cause of the political Establishment rather than the social elite. There is a difference.
I think posters on here -and the media- tend to see everything through the prism of Brexit -which is a posh way of saying they are obsessed with Brexit.

Mr. Flashman (deceased), I think car autonomy may be overblown. For transporting people, internal controls and overrides will always be necessary, which rather diminishes the advantage of autonomy in the first place.
