If that is the despatches story it has been debunked and was pulled by channel 4.
Seems unlikely it'd be on the front page of the Sunday Times then, unless there's another development
It's not on the front page of the Sunday Times - at least not the copy I have seen
Its embedded within the Gavin William piece on the Sunday Times
Well it is a non story - even channel 4 pulled it
What part of it is a non story? The cabinet minister threatening to set off a "bomb" of resignations, the two former cabinet ministers and 8 younger tory MPs writing letters to the 1922 committee about no confidence in May, the threat that May must sack Hammond?
That sounds like a different story. Isn't Big_G talking about the Brexit consulting story?

Jacob Rees Mogg 'I can't understand why Philip Hammond would conceivably be jealous of Mr Johnson when he is so noticeably charismatic himself'. The article seems to suggest Mogg could back Boris in any leadership contest, creating a potentially unstoppable force

Must be. Points I mention are bulleted within the Gavin williamson stuff. Not a sign of a party content to let May continue

Looking more and more likely a move against May is coming...

Surely we cannot have another year of this sort of plotting.
It is fun to think back to how it was Corbyn in a similar position with Cameron smugly telling him to just go for gods sake or something similar, been a journey.

I think he is a lot happier with his position than any other party leader.

He might be out if sight. The polls tell us very little. They said May was out of sight.

'He might be out if sight. The polls tell us very little. They said May was out of sight.'

Most of the final polls in 2017 had the Tory lead little different from 2015 and none showed May would get the landslide she hoped for with Survation and the penultimate yougov correctly forecasting a hung parliament, all the current polls show little change from 2017 with not even Survation predicting Labour will win enough seats for a working majority

Buccaneering Brexit, what a load of old twaddle . We've not seen anything that vacuous since a red, white and blue Brexit. Usually he thinks he's Churchill, now he thinks he's Long John Silver. Does he plan to raid the Spanish main?

I am not a Boris fan but he would shake up the politics and give the NHS all the money they need.

Corbyn would have a real character to beat for once

The Tories deserve to be out of power for a generation if that's what they are reduced to.

The risk to Brexit, on reflection, is that it causes a civil war inside the Conservative Party, which leads to Corbyn, which leads to economic disaster.

Which will be blamed on Brexit.
