Time for them all to go on holiday - mind you train drivers turning down £75, 000 pa would tend to give some credence to some in the public sector being paid very well indeed
If I'm overpaid, then so is Phillip Hammond. I may be a lazy, sleep at night, snooker playing, tea drinking, wiff waff loving, pole sliding racist homophobe, but the public will still love the fire service above the CoE. Let's put it to the public, see who gets a better pay rise.

Dr Liam Fox is the weakest member of the cabinet. His job is the most important in the cabinet, much more so than David Davis. And he is failing badly.

Indeed. His most perverse step was to prioritise meeting Duterte in Phillipines and proclaim"our shared values".Duterte has already confirmed he has personally shot 3 men and has had many 1,000s of his own people murdered as part of the "War on Drugs".There are ways to assist those who regularly use drugs but it should be led by their health, not the execution without due legal process. It remains possible that Duterte himself remains a Fentanyl user,an prescribed opiate with greater potency than heroin, and therefore more addictive.Prince had it in his toxicology report.
    "Shared values" my arse.

Voters are still split on how they would vote if there was a rerun of 2016’s EU referendum, with 48% saying they would vote leave, 47% remain and 5% undecided.

If there were another referendum on the UK’s membership of the EU, how would you vote? Leave 48% Remain 47% Undecided 5% (With undecided removed) Leave 50% (+1) Remain 50% (-1)

It is remarkable how stable the leave and remain percentages are

Also only 27% want to stay.

The poll is fairly stable for Theresa May.

She is going nowhere not least because she is a bloody difficult woman

Eh? In what part of the public sector do you find train drivers G? Rail is PRIVATISED!

As a national specialist in my field working in the public sector, I can only dream of a £75k salary.

Most people, in the private or public sector, can only dream of a £75k salary.

If they were nationalised they would be wanting £100,000. The rail unions are a marxist monopoly

I went on strike in 2003 for 30kFirePay- Because we're worth it! (Cheers Adam Gilchrist!) I've just reached 30k this year. MPs who took 11 percent last year can suck my salty balls about pay rises in the public sector.

Absolutely cracking men's doubles finals at Wimbledon. Could have watched that all day. Feels like I have, in fact ...

In contrast to 5 sets and 4 hrs 40 mins of the men's very enjoyable and competitive doubles, an utterly tepid ladies' doubles ends 6-0 6-0 in less than an hour. Poor sods at the receiving end of that one.

And another thing, since 2010, we have enjoyed two years of pay freeze followed by 5 years of notional 1% rises. I say notional because it's bullshit. Every year except 2016, we have received up to 1% as an unconsolidated bonus, no change to pay scales and hence no impact on baseline salary or pension. Last year we got about 0.5% consolidated, which frankly I would rather have than 1% unconsolidated as it at least contributes to pension. This year, we are back to unconsolidated. Basically a bonus.

Utter shite, and I seriously suspect it lost you your majority as large numbers of people are utterly fucked off with the endlessness of it all. If Spreadshit Phil thinks we're overpaid he can shove it up his arse. Brexit might be a good time for a strike.

Glad to get that off my chest.

How charming, every time you're found to be talking bollocks, you start muttering about Marxists. Lol
