    Tories 2015 = 11,299,959 votes
    Tories 2017 = 13,636,690 votes

    The problem with articles like this is that we were told after the 2015 election that the turning point for Miliband was the Question Time a week before polling day when he was asked whether Labour had spent too much and he said no.
    Now we are expected to believe the opposite-that the turning point for May was the Question Time a week before polling day when she was asked to spend more money and she said no.

    Both cant be right.
