2010 vote was interesting in that McNeil might have had an reasonable increase in his majority if not for the hangover from a sex scandal.

Someone should tell Ed that food prices have fallen.
    http://money.aol.co.uk/2015/03/12/food-prices-fall-fastest-since-2006/
''Over the last three months, according to Kantar Worldpanel, prices have been 1.6% lower than this time last year - the biggest fall since 2006.
This means that, as prices fall, shoppers have been able to save as much as £400 million during the quarter.''

Somebody somewhere must have a few photo's of the Miliband's kitchen number 2. It must be a real dozy if the Labour media minder made them take the at home shot in the snacking kitchen.

Based upon his image history, best Labour policy from now on would be to release no pictures of him whatsoever and only do radio interviews.

Tim was purely from the Alistair Campbel and Mcbride school of politics though. It was all about the game, he couldnt care either way about the policy. He pushed a number of fronts, some of them he was spot on. He was spot on about Andy Coulson and pushed it and pushed it. He was also spot on about oil tax wheeze that Osborn carried out which wiped out north sea exploration. He was kind of right about Hague joining up with the Polish SS (as he called them) in the european parliament.

I had to attend a media training course on Tuesday, which brought home to me again (1) that I sound like a strangulated cross between John Major and Ken Livingstone and (2) that I would provide photographers with a cornucopia of awkward pictures if ever I was in the public eye.

I have a lot of sympathy for Ed Miliband on that front.

I always thought it was dangerous for politicians to laugh at Prescott for the way he mangled his words. Not least because the Tories were seen as rather arrogant and snide by the voters. And most voters themselves probably wouldn't consider themselves the most eloquent speakers. I can remember Hague mocking him at PMQs and thinking that actually a lot of voters would probably sympathise with Prescott's struggles.

The policy of denial continues in Rotherham:

    http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-south-yorkshire-31841042

And you can be sure that the South Yorkshire plods have the same mentality.

As I've said before things will only change when the collaborators in the public services start going to jail.

And 28 weeks after the Jay report how many plods, social workers, children's home managers, councillors and council officials have been charged ?

I believe the answer to be zero, zero, zero, zero and zero.

Does anyone think things are being taken seriously in Rotherham ?

How long did it take for the latest Hillsborough inquest to get under way?

"Ex-South Yorkshire police officer, in charge at 1989 semi-final, admits lying about ordering a gate opened but says it did not start a conspiracy"

There is absolutely nothing to suggest that the polling in Scotland is going to change much between now and 7 May. The arguments for Scottish Labour are all being aired and, it seems, being disregarded by the intended audience.

You lied when you promised to stop channeling tim.
tim was occasionally funny as well

and put his money where his mouth was £££
Tim was purely from the Alistair Campbel and Mcbride school of politics though. He was kind of right about Hague joining up with the Polish SS (as he called them) in the european parliament.
tim overplayed his hand with the Coulson thing though. It was going to be 'the drum beat leading up to the general Election'. In fact, everyone's now forgotten about it. As for the Latvian homophobes... has that been mentioned in years?
There's another Coulson trial in late April. You may be writing off that prediction too quickly.
With the Mirror investigation running at the same time it may well have lost a lot of the sting from Coulson.

Incidentally it is quite popular to have two kitchens in Leicester. Asian families often have the extended family in residence and dual kitchens help resolve female territorial disputes.

Two living rooms is also quite popular. The big old houses around East Park rd are quite popular as they allow for this.

Observant Jews often (at least used to) have two, so they don't mix meat and diary.

Banging on about Coulson could bring the Mirror to the fore. Not worth it.

That makes the odds on the Tories in D&G look even more interesting.

    Likewise the Westminster paedophile ring.

And when they can't keep things quite, eg the banks, they still ensure that the fatcats walk away without punishments but with full payoffs and pensions.

So the Scottish Lib Dems on 4% but on 30% in Kincardine eh? #wishfulthinking

Maybe I was being optimistic in thinking the Lib Dems will come third.

At this level of polling Labour could come 3rd in D&G as well. But who would come first? It could be very close.

Someone should tell Ed that food prices have fallen.

''Over the last three months, according to Kantar Worldpanel, prices have been 1.6% lower than this time last year - the biggest fall since 2006.
This means that, as prices fall, shoppers have been able to save as much as £400 million during the quarter.''
Petrol prices on the rise again, though!
