Has Mr Burnham given any indication whether he'd support the Parliament Act being used to force the Assisted Dying bill through? Or can't the PM influence it given that another private member has chosen to bring it back?

There was an article over the weekend which said Burnham's Catholicism might be an issue on this.

Regardless of PM the bill is unlikely to pass the Commons anyway.

In order to use the Parliament Act, the Commons needs to pass the exact same Bill in two different sessions.

So yes, they’re trying to get it through without the Lords’ amendments.
