And he missed for 25 mins scoring a massive own goal and leaving viewers over that time period believing Sunaks lie that SKS will raise everyone's tax by £2,000 and would be weaker on immigration. Not that there was a decisive win for Sunak though i hear (I didnt see any of it just going from reports) -
Re: I think the Tories would be happy with these MRPs all things considered – politicalbetting.com
Tory wheels turn very slowly. They had a piece on Newsnight last night with a youngish Tory MP and an SNP MP and the Tory said she was disgusted by Kemi Badenoch and her views on trans and her culture wars and one of her good friends had that very morning said she'd never vote Tory again. The Tories are now a Party for… -

Re: Your reminder the betting markets are frequently wrong – politicalbetting.com
I am sure you are, MP. I would be the last one to dispute this because of a single poll, especially from a Pollster that hasn't done a GE survey for some considerable time. What I would do, as a punter of course, is have a look at the 23 survivors in that strictly hypothetical scenario and look for betting opportunities in… -

Re: Incoming extinction level event for the Tories – politicalbetting.com
We were fed a reductive neoliberal perspective of Environment Agency vs Householder and our Rivers are dying. The Tories are toast. Even if the real origin of the underlying corruption is Russian oil and US chemical money funded lobbying undermining democratic control I’m okay with the Tories taking the shit in the face… -

Those two age groups are those that volunteer most. This statistic presents the proportion of adults who had volunteered in the last year in England, between 2014 and 2020, by age. Over each of the survey periods, the 16 to 24 year old and 65 to 74 year old age groups had the highest share of participants volunteering. In… -

Apols for being late back to this, but surely the Russian experience in Afghanistan in the 1980s counteracts that? They were hardly subject to democratic pressures, but they still caved in. In addition, IMV Putin's reluctance to openly go for full mobilisation, even after his 'election', indicates he is concerned about… -
Re: Next week things can only get better for Sunak or worse – politicalbetting.com
I thought we discussed this the other day. "Hard right" and "hard left" are meaningless terms often used as perjoratives. How would you characterise "hard right"? Strong on defence, strong sense of national identity, anti immigration and especially anti-Muslim immigration? In favour of "traditional values" (whatever they… -

Looking again, I see that part of the missing text was "previous vote"! So their random forest is based on demographics, previous vote and policy questions. And I think the random forest model is training with the party preferences of all the respondents except the don't knows (including "will not vote") in the same survey. -
