So Northern Grid need to extend the main cable into a new part of town - that is being done underground and is generating roadworks for 9 months on the main road into town from the A1M Last year they closed the main route from Scotch Corner to Richmond for the exact same reason. That was only 12 weeks but you can imagine… -
