You hadn't said you thought he shouldn't compete on this particular thread, if you did elsewhere on the page, then apologies. If you don't believe that, but believe they have female genitalia, then why? Are you just speculating the same as me, but your speculating is good and mine is not. You said that I said he had… -

Nope. This is bad news all round. I mean, give me an upside to the specific scenario you raised? However other taxes or even tariffs usually have pros and cons to them eg taxes to provide services or tariffs to stop dumping. You might not agree with a tax or tariff, but there is usually a counter argument. However your… -
Re: We have our first by election but will the Reform rammy have an impact? – politicalbetting.com
My wife felt the same way after meeting our now-resigned MP. It was particularly tasteless she *had to* meet him again a few times on behalf of her organisation. Perhaps one way to improve politics would be for every successful candidate to be personally introduced to voters before they are confirmed in place. -

Re: Trump Overreach? – politicalbetting.com
a I think you'll find this will be as difficult as getting rid of Triple Lock. There is a whole host of charities (a tax law designation) that spend their monies (often government grants) on Judicial Reviews to challenge small aspects of legal interpretation of any new legislation. This chips away at the foundations of… -

a Anecdote. When the Berlin Wall came down, companies in Europe were rubbing their hands on the reconstruction projects that were touted at the time. Legacy communication companies were planning to build optical fibre plants to install miles of cables to upgrade infrastructure in the East. Then someone realised it would be… -

Lucy Letby's defence counsel - https://www.exchangechambers.co.uk/people/benjamin-myers-kc/ What his instructions were we don't know. But to suggest that he was just going through the motions is nonsense. The defence applied to have all the charges struck out on the basis that there was no case to answer. That is… -

Re: If Farage doesn’t distance himself from the odious Trump then his polling might struggle
I know why the policy should be enacted. It’s electorally damaging because there is a rump of residents that don’t want to admit their privilege is unearned. So they take against someone putting a different priority on progressing the repressed and left behind. The rump are resentful and their undeserved place may be being… -
Re: If the 2028 election is about the economy – politicalbetting.com
Further - the Nott cuts were actually about strategy. The submarine service and the RAF projected a future in which surface ship were obsolete. The Soviet ASMs would wipe them out. IIRC doubt was cast on the possibly of Aegis to deal with swarm attacks. I’ve got a copy of Keegan’s book, pre-Falklands, that laid this out.… -
