Re: politicalbetting.com » Blog Archive » After yesterday’s dramatic Scottish polls LAB braces itself
Zero-hours contracts are another area where labour's been incompetent. ZHC's are, from some polling, generally popular with people who have them, and the majority are not looking for other work. Instead, Labour has bashed the entire segment, stupidly. Especially when Labour MPs, charities and other groups also use ZHC's.… -
Re: politicalbetting.com » Blog Archive » Whilst TMay is said to be contemplating a no deal Brexit LAB’s
Labours position in the polls has been no great love for Corbyn, his amateur hour shadow cabinet, their last conference/triumphalist rally nor their half baked policy’s, its been a redreamer bubble of hoping they will stop/soften brexit. The bubbles about to burst. They won’t get anything near 34% in the coming GE, nearer… -

Re: politicalbetting.com » Blog Archive » Election 2014: A 3-act drama and the plot’s bubbling nicely
Mid-Sussex did a face down verification yesterday (took about 3 hours with 72 people actually doing the counting) and the count proper which was due to start at 18:00 tomorrow has been put back to 18:30. I am told that the change of time was to fit in with the rest of the region. The count itself I'd guess will take 3/4… -
Re: politicalbetting.com » Blog Archive » Sanders’ odds are far too short for Iowa: no-one should be odd
The estimated electoral crossover age (at which support for the Conservatives passes that for Labour) is now only 39. Fortysomethings may no longer be in the first flush of youth but in no reasonable estimation are we "old." The left's support is simply slipping away amongst everyone who has accumulated significant assets,… -

I've been asked to sign this petition Please discourage David Cameron the Prime Minister of our great country from tarnishing his office by using the despatch box to administer insults to other members of the House of Commons during PMQs..... ....Why is this important? Having watched PMQs for decades, today, 24th Feburary… -

I wonder if most of those with talent and potential have already emigrated laving behind the unemployable who are never going to leave because they have no greater prospects anywhere else. Perhaps the reason the education results in Wales are do awful is down to the raw materiel the teachers have to work on. As for new… -
Re: politicalbetting.com » Blog Archive » No Overall Majority now an even hotter favourite for GE15
Charles Your use of hyperbole on the last thread merely outlined the weakness of your argument. I'm well aware of the long term nature of rebalancing the economy and that's why I'm aware of the importance of changing the public's mentality re wealth consumption and living within our means. It was Osborne who complacently… -

you did. Longer report reproduced here, editing & bold is mine: The new coronavirus can survive long exposure to high temperatures, according to an experiment by a team of French scientists. Re: politicalbetting.com » Blog Archive » COVID-19: It’s Not Your Fault
I have wondered if social distancing contributes to lessening the severity of infection and not just numbers. It has been suggested that viral load (probably a technical term I'm using incorrectly) has a bearing on how well your immune system responds. A couple of viral particles and your immune system has time to ramp up.… -

A decade ago, I was in contact with another coastal walker I've never met. It turned out we both 'collected' trig pillars, and we had both been at the same trig pillar in Wales within an hour or so of each other, yet never met. We still haven't, but his travels are far more entertaining than @Leon's... -

My edition (24th) is about 1100 pages, pretty small text, but my understanding is that editions have changed massively over the years in terms of detailing the past situation and what changes there have been, for reasons of space, so you don't get a very clear picture of how it has developed for every part of it. I'd have… -
Re: politicalbetting.com » Blog Archive » Big tent or radical reformers – how does Dave use the Torie
Puzzled by this EPG. You do know that Baldwin became Prime Minister in 1923, before Labour had even held power? He also won a huge election victory in 1924. Any major impact he had on Britain - that is to say, things that happened because of him that would not have happened without him - was in the next five years, up to… -

I grew up in Wokingham. It is not the town it once was. For the last 10 or more years there has been mass house building making the town much bigger than it ever used to be. As a result there are many new people living there with different political views. In my view Redwood kept his seat at the last election due to fear… -

Corbyn has been forced by circumstances - those darned Ukrainians peruse to be the aggressors! - to this. But don't worry. The moment there is the slightest thing to condemn about Ukrainian actions (imagined or otherwise) he will snap back. Reminds me of a manager who was a totally Company Man. On one occasion, they lied… -

You are absolutely correct in this and whilst I expect the conservatives to lose many seats in Wales at the next GE, the Senedd elections in 2026 will be interesting As the only poster( as far as I am aware) on this forum currently facing a serious health issue here in Wales it has come to something that my son is on 24… -

Or sports coaches. Or priests. Or people working in foster homes. Only last week IICSA published its final report. All its reports show the extent to which predatory males will do pretty much anything to get access to and abuse vulnerable children (of both sexes, though predominantly girls) and girls and girls on the cusp…
