The “human capital balance” is skewed in the UK. There are more “chavs” per head than in other Western countries and so pre-tax earnings distribution is also more skewey. Thats one theory, anyway, It… (View Post)2 -

UK taxes are very badly loaded on middle class wage earners . Hardly anyone else pays tax. Taxes don’t necessarily need to go “up” they need to go “broad”. Perhaps this distinction is not meaningful,… (View Post)4 -
