Let’s see the detail on that. Personally, I am delighted by the state aid / VAT agreement as well. Those elements always struck me as a terrible surrender of sovereignty by Johnson and Frost. (View Post)1 -

Von der Leyen is closer to a Head of Government than a Head of State. The Council head (whose name I have forgotten) is closer to “Head of State” for the EU, albeit an effectively powerless one. (View Post)1
