    I think it amazing that 'interesting' is as high as it is. Heck, 2 of the top 4 descriptions are positive.

    It needed to be 2 hours long, and we don't need the person who submitted the question there, or even need to know who it was.

    Quite right. I don’t give a fuck about Benny from Bolton or whoever.

    I want a prepared compere to ask Boris why NHS figures are in freefall; why we should trust him given he’s already broken promises on Brexit, tax cuts, and an Irish regulatory border already; and why he is willing to up borrowing after years of the Tories preaching fiscal conservatism.

    Ditto for Corbyn.

    Ironically because the Americans are so much more deferential to their politicians and because the Presidency is a constitutionally-defined role, whereas here the PM is just some guy (or gal) we get to fill the role by convention and who can be ejected at any time without ceremony...

    So earlier today the opinion was that Boris was wrong to do the debate as it put him in an area that was more comfortable for Corbyn, both as a challenger and as part of his style as a politician. So effectively with a draw their will be relief from Team Boris and frustration at a missed opportunity from Team Corbyn.

    If Corbyn cannot move the dial with the manifesto launch which I guess in effect is a day long PPB then things won’t be looking good for Labour.

    The fact that they kept CCHQ clear too and said "fact checking from CCHQ" made it a bit tongue in cheek.

    Jones is probably right. Boris's people would have been most disappointed with the outcome.
