It won’t be Gove, he’s on board with the current plans. Now which minister has been sidelined and apparently wants a quick end to the lockdown? My money’s on Patel. Could she be sacked? She’s been conspicuously useless after all.

Dunno. The Treasury is looking at the numbers and having a fit. -20 to 30 GDP? Millions unemployed etc ect
Front cover of the Times says what I was saying about a week ago: lockdown for 3 more weeks = 6 weeks in total.
I wish the Gov't would come out with '3 more weeks' instead of the whole "Lockdown will last at least another week"
They can’t say that, when they don’t have any idea as to when it will be safe to. They could say ‘at least three weeks’, which gives some clear direction.

Sunak has things covered for three months, they will stick to their word. After that then, yes, they will expect a change (situation permitting). The plan of three weeks ago gave certainty, all this off the record briefing is just scaremongering.
If anyone has any tips for actually getting fit instead of just gorging on chocolate and snacks during the lockdown I am all ears. I already know good lung health and low BMI are helpful if you get the virus but that's not seeming to do it.
Anyone who thinks our independent civil service needs to be dumped for political replacements every time there is a new administration (and I mean you Cummings)...

If you think Sunak's plans are working on the ground then I suggest there is a bridge you can buy.

Furloughing looks to be working very well, though the small business loans situation clearly needs to be changed. Yes, there some on the edges of cutoff dates and so on but the ‘we have your back’ policy has created a good degree of security for many workers. It’s why the government is retaining high support.
The biggest problem they have is that people do not want to be going back to work in a dangerous situation. A Yougov poll, referred to in the Telegraph says something about this but I can’t find figures, yet. The government now realised that lockdown, given that the tactic was to wait for support of it, will need to be maintained until the public support being removed from it. Quite ironic really but it shows a consistency of purpose. That means not leaving the high percentage who are scared to leave their house exposed; we need to hear more from that group to counterbalance the already loud voices demanding that they get back to work.

Was Ian Lavery the one who diddled the NUM?
Yet according to the Corbynista Faction backside-covering project is he now for the high jump?
I thought he was on side with them on most things.
Why can't they just bring back the Khruschev politburo. Fewer rats in a larger sack.
All Biden has to do is dig away enough for Trump to total lose his shit and just have a toddler meltdown on live TV.
All Trump needs to do is engineer a moment where Biden forgets what day of the week it is.

No wonder Clinton is at 3/1 or whatever she is at on BF.
