Good luck to the two of them. The gawping and uninformed critiquing on this thread alone shows why they might decide the status quo is not worth the candle.
No, inherited wealth, which conservatives support unlike socialists and inherited jobs, which include executives in family businesses, are not socialist. Socialism is state control of the economy
* Jobs for life * Hereditary principle * Pomp and circumstance
Just like SOCIALIST North Korea!
Jobs for life has got nothing to do with socialism, plenty of farmers and those in family businesses have jobs for life in capitalist economies.
Plenty of US political dynasties such as the Kennedys and the Bushes and inaugration day in the US and Bastille Day in France are full of pomp and circumstance, neither are socialist

But that's not why they're doing this, is it? For all the online and media tittle tattle, they've fallen out big time with the Cambridges. That's what this is really about, not that I really care.
Sir Kier will never appeal to "red wall" voters so he will be unelectable in 2024 IMO but he will probably start the process of bringing Labour back to sanity so whoever follows him may have a chance in 2029.

He isn't going to go very far if he continues to avoid giving straight answers. It is impossible to demand the government answer his questions when he won't/can't do the same.

How do you know?
The same way that people here “know” so many things. They read them in the online Mail or Guardian. Both of which are, no doubt coincidentally, free.

Red wall voters voted for Corbyn in 2017 as he promised to deliver Brexit, when he did not they voted for Boris in 2019 instead. Starmer is unlikely to appeal much to Leave voters there however he might appeal more to London and southern Remainers who voted Tory in 2017 and 2019 to keep out Corbyn
Starmer doing his Owen Jones’s da impression to win over the numpty Corbynite MPs - he will then tack towards LD Blairism when he wins - betting they won’t turn on him as they are cowards.

We know that they've had a big falling out because William has said as much. I doubt this move is unrelated to that. But whatever, good luck to them.
Wow. Some raw hatred for Meghan Markle on here tonight. Curious. When Boris diverts public funds to his fancy woman he's lauded; when Harry removes them from his wife he's vilified.
I get the feeling that for some folk Harry and Meghan are a bigger detriment to the first family of the nation than Andrew. Let's hope it's not revealed that Andrew has had sex with a trafficked young woman of mixed race or his rep will really be in the toilet.

That really is quite depressing. Maybe it is because Meghan is American? Oh wait...
btw.. I have spoken to several females of my age and they all seem to think Meghan was and is "trouble". I have no idea as to why? Any ideas?
Not a clue. Shes a woke American actress, that really sets people off I guess, but in doubt get the level of vitriol. Maybe I'm biased as I was a fan of Suits.

If so, then they are as good as out if the firm. I was joking before but a tell all book from harry and Meghan seems quite likely at some stage- they want out.

If you mean the horrendous puns, futile attempts at wit and cliquey in jokes, that's about par for the course.
Oh you wound me with your superiority, sir. Perhaps you could offer a training course to lead to us to enlightenment and help ascend, buddha like, to your level
"Well, young man, if there's anybody who disagrees with that, we sit down and talk about it and decide that I might not be the best manager ever, but I'm in the top one....."

I thought McCluskey had disowned this one and said it was a pack of lies?
Mind you, given McCluskey's record that doesn't mean the story's wrong. But given Gardiner is apparently not even in the country at the moment, and is pro-Israel, pro-tuition fees and pro-Iraq war, I think you can cease panicking.

Yes, it's fair to say your first 50,000 posts are your best after which it's a long slippery slope.
Perhaps all the Silvie Krin gushers for Meg and H might like to reflect upon the report the couple did not even have the courtesy to tell any other royal before their announcement.

Was it you that was asking for stats about SLab voters who back Scottish independence? A couple of days later I read an article by a SLab member that dealt with this topic. I’ll see if I can find it.

Its not her nationality- it’s her politics.
What are her politics?
I suspect the nation is being disingenuous. It's not her race it's her politics!

That statement by the Palace is as close to DefCon One as it gets.
The apologists for Harry and Meghan on here tonight might want to reflect on the part their behaviour might have played in this rather than just casting aspirations on those who critique them.

Starmer has the support of Thangam, Bambos, Preet - are there ANY planets in the Federation he hasn't won over?

It's widely believed that Diana had BPD, so Harry would have grown up looking for a woman in the same mould.
The real miracle is that William turned out pretty normal.
It fell through when he refused to let them take his teeth out to make room for the seats.

Almost as messy as McCluskey not backing Gardiner.
