    It will make no difference. Romney's words in the OP: I‘m with the president’s domestic policy agenda of low taxes, low regulation, smaller government, pushing back against the bureaucrats

    Republicans increasingly realise they are back where they were with Reagan: an easily influenced president who might have firm beliefs but with no real policies, leaving a vacuum for the House Republicans to fill. There never was a Trumpian replacement for Obamacare or a Trumpian tax plan.
