It is clear that the Labour Party have succeeded in building a movement that will criticise Theresa May and the Tories for absolutely everything that happens now (e.g. the response to the fire) while continuing to glorify Corbyn as the man of the people. We are heading for some substantial unrest, I think.
Whether May can cling on depends on how the party responds to these events. If she can ride it out she's got a chance of altering the narrative if this is peak Corbyn. Time will tell. I did want May to go post-GE but now I'm wondering if a leadership contest is really what the country needs right now - everything feels a bit febrile and I'm not sure we need more instability.
