    Well we should know soon enough but personally I doubt that much local political activity really affects the results. Pre 2015 we heard interminably about Labour's ground game and the personal votes of Lib Dem MPs built on local activism. In the end neither mattered a damn. Why would the Tory efforts be so much more effective?
