AndyJS who does wonders with his election spreadsheets has produced what to me is an invaluable resource – all the main targets for the established parties on one sheet.
New politics - now we know who is pushing Hamilton for a seat. With Wheeler reported as saying he'll not donate any money unless Neil gets a seat... perhaps UKIP should apply to the EU for some funding?
"Nigel Farage was today urged by David Cameron to tackle alleged “inherent racism and sexism” in UKIP after a barrister’s chances of becoming an MP appeared to have been hit because she was “brown and a woman”.
Suella Fernandes, 34, from London, failed to be selected as the prospective candidate for the rural Sussex seat of Bexhill and Battle.
Local association president John Barnes told the Financial Times: “I think the double whammy of being brown and a woman probably handicaps her still.
The Conservative Party denounced Mr Barnes’s comment as “unacceptable”, while Labour MP Seema Malhotra called on Mr Farage to take action.
That same article reports that Farage isn't sure he'll win in Thanet South and doesn't want Hamilton to win a seat, if he himself doesn't.... it reads to me as if Neil or his Mrs might have been the source of this story??

It's amazing that David Cameron seems to comment more about the internal workings of UKIP than he does about thousands of kids getting raped on our streets.
Screw the Tories. Ed Miliband might be terrible, but so are they.
I've got a tip, Ben Carson is currently 100/1 with Ladbrokes for the GOP nomination for 2016, yet today is there is a poll that puts him ahead in a second state (N.Carolina), and not only that but he's level with Hillary.
Carson's strength is that he can articulate even the most extreme positions in a calm and convincing manner, also he's not an elected politician and he's black. His weaknesses are also he's not an elected politician and he's black.
Judge for youself, here's a recent TV interview of him on Bloomberg, talking on Ferguson, the Iraq War, Chuck Hagel's resignation and monetary policy: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U-OLTJYiLKI
@juliahobsbawm: Birmingham City Library (Labour) is slashing the beautiful magnificent new library because of £12 million annual 'repayment on construction'
@juliahobsbawm: Birmingham Post reports it costs £10 million per year to run the library but £12 million to pay back cost of building it. A Labour Council.
@juliahobsbawm: How, Ed, will you keep costs down and debt down, if flagship Labour council projects like Birmingham's Library project go so wrong?

That's way more than UKIP have ever raised/spent in a year.
In 2010 they spent £1.3 million, in 2013 £2.4 million.
