'Indeed. Generally you assume the one's with the most money and who have homes all over the place to try and keep their tax bills down are going to be natural Tories, but not always...'

Haha. Hate to appropriate the terms of others, but unspoofable springs to mind. Despite the fact that a minute's googling would show that half the people on your list are clearly non-Tories, the attitude that rich people who dare to have an interest in the world beyond their own tiny-minded little greedy universe are 'champagne socialists' is hilarious. (Poor people with similar views are of course just pursuing the politics of envy. )

(Almost as hilarious as Sean Ts dogged insistence that SBC and Gervais are right wingers despite all evidence to the contrary. Maybe wing nuts can be funny after all)

RichardTyndall He managed to lose the PCC election to Ann Barnes, and as I have said before if people are offered Coke or Pepsi they will choose the real thing!

JWisemann A market stall trader in Romford is more likely to be a Tory than a multimillionaire living in Islington

I fear we may be witnessing the end of the prime of one Tiger Woods.

Watching him today he was clearly in pain. Look at Tom Watson or Adam Scott for a perfect 'big easy swing'.Watson's swin has barely changed in over 40 years. The same cannot be said for Tiger. Tiger's extremely violent swing relies on snapping his left knee and torque from his back. After 4 knee surgeries including an ACL and a broken leg, back surgery, Lasik twice, and elbow, wrist and arm problems, it seems clear his body is a very old 38. To come back from recovery from back surgery and still have problems is not a good sign.

There are still flashes of the old magic, with some incredible shots. His driver has deserted him, he is no longer a long hitter, and he has trouble approaching with flags on the left side of greens.

If he can put it all together, does he still have the game to win a major? Of course. But is he going to win 4 more and equal Nicklaus' record? It looks increasingly unlikely.

On a more positive note, I have been lucky enough to have seen all the major golfers of the last 60 years up close and inside the ropes, and I was there when Nicklaus won his last Masters.

But I have never in my life seen anything like Rory McIlroy's driving off the tee over the last couple of weeks. It is truly stupendous. He just turns out one 320+ yard drive after another and lands them all perfectly in the middle of the fairway.

Oh give over, it's only a bit of fun.
