Sorry to be boring and focus on the questions at the end, but I'm not sure it's necessary to use two different shades of grey for "It's Our County" and "Non-Party Independent" vs "Independents". The former is quite hard to read and when bolded lacks enough impact. No comment on whether Mebynon Kernow's colour is representative of the party, but it is very hard to read.

Yellow's readable but would be easier on the eye if darker.

    Here's my pre-qualifying piece:

Are the colours clear and easy to read? Are there any colours that you believe could be used instead of the ones suggested?

    #7F7F00 for SNP please

The yellow is unreadable for me. Frankly the use of so many colours doesn't add anything to the information to be conveyed, it just looks a mess and makes the whole thing off-putting and harder to read.

In truth, I think a tabular presentation would be easier to parse. As HL says, the yellow on white is hard to read, particularly for someone as moley as me.

Mebynon Kernow 58 (5%) is unreadable also.

Mebynon Kernow 58 (5%) would be better

For SNP perhaps black on yellow backround and for Kernow white on black background
