Rallings and Thrasher projected shares, 2009:
Con 35%
LD 25%
Lab 22%
Actual vote share in contested areas, 2009:
Con 44%
LD 25%
Lab 13%
UKIP 5%
So in 2009 the difference between the actual shares and the projection was for the Conservatives to be 9 percentage points lower, the LDs the same, and Lab 9 percentage points higher.
