I was tempted to reply "a little less conversation" from you, but then I thought "dont be cruel".Elvish Present-ly?Q: What kind of music do elves listen to?The ones I've met prefer Elvish.
A: Wrap.
Ah, my coat.

It's very amusing to here all the advise for the Tories from non-tories. Anyone would think the panic about Reform was growing. Yet only the other day some were posting that Reform had peaked. Indeed I doubt they can get much beyond 33/5% and probably less. However, it's also quite possibly true tha the Labour bottom is not yet there. All very funny.

Because nobody has spotted/acknowledged the brilliantly subtle pun in the headline I have decided to give up subtlety as one of my new year's resolutions.

Indeed. My publisher alerted me. They get the other $1500...PSA: If you've published a book, and Anthropic scraped it for AI training, you (might) get $1500 per book:THis is genuine, right? I've just noticed a book by a colleague.

I'd agree, although I'm also not sure they have many options open to them. Looking reluctant will just annoy people who want them to do it, and those who don't want them to.The question of how the Tories at the top (leader level) handle this issue (their public stance on giving support to a Reform government) is one of the huge calls of UK politics. All the options are impossible but one of them has to be taken. They are:
This is politically insane. As things stand, the Conservatives will face a challenge from Reform in many of the seats they hold. If they don't rule out coalition with Reform, they won't be able to get the tactical votes they will need from Labour, LD and Green supporters

Yes we would
No we wouldn't
Wait and see after the election
Never say anything at all except something about how that the Tories are going to win anyway
Say different and incompatible things including hints and nudges in both directions.
Personally I'm with Gavin Barwell. Otherwise they don't get my vote - One nation Tory.

I've gone in on England to win this 3rd test match at 11. It's not smart, it's not calculated, it's just pure unadulterated patriotism.I like to bet on England in the cricket so that the bookmakers don't close down my accounts.
