Who is they? The 25th amendment requires two thirds of both the Senate and House for the President to be removed. The Republicans are only defending 8 out of the 51 seats they hold at the mid terms - mostly in solid red states with strong candidates who are a lot more electable than Roy Moore. I just don't see the politics… -

ANTIFRANK Another most interesting article just like the ones you wrote on potential Boundary Changes last June and July. As no legislation is necessary for the next Boundary Changes and as Cameron still wishes to reduce seat numbers to 600, what do you and others of course think will happen politically please? 1.… -

The link doesn't suggests that there's reason for unalloyed pleasure. For example it says that 'two-thirds of the growth in employment since 2008 has been in ‘atypical’ roles such as self-employment, zero-hours contracts or agency work.' Although it must be conceded that the rate of growth in this are has slowed recently. -

Agree, see also BigG's response and others. The difference is when it was introduced, heating your house was a pretty minor expense if you were on even a low to mid salary. The last couple of years, it's been very different. As I say, why should my tax money subsidise a single pensioner at 68 rather than a single mum with… -

Giles Coren, in The Times yesterday. “ Yesterday morning, after eleven mostly unhappy and pointless years, I left Twitter. It’s no biggie. I am not sure what is driving the increase in UKIP vote at the moment. I think it is many things - some of which I agree with and some of which I don't. Lots of interesting points made this morning and made very politely too, which is nice. However, the debate has been on how to best elect representatives to the commons, I would suggest that is to put the cart before the horse. Re: What would be happening if Corbyn was still LAB leader – politicalbetting.com
While it's been likely for some time, it is not without its risks. Firstly, no one is going to watch Tucker's show. Secondly, what if someone really shines in the debate? Indeed. To some extent, I think any Labour leader would have been seen as insufficiently remainy to Lib Dems.
