Moving from road to rail and water for long distance goods transport would certainly be a very sensible move. Much of the rest of Europe do it very well. (View Post)1 -

My point being that, in that case, you deal with demand not supply. Because stopping drilling on the UKCS does not decrease supply or demand at all. It just increases the cost for the country. (View Post)2 -
