This is quite concerning. NATOs Wedgetail (= AWACS replacement) programme has been afaics essentially killed by US withdrawal.
I'm not sure where this laves the UK.
NATO’s effort to replace its ageing E-3A Sentry fleet has been upended after the United States pulled out of the alliance’s planned purchase of up to six Boeing E-7 Wedgetails, leaving the programme without a strategic or financial anchor, the UK Defence Journal understands.
The Dutch Ministry of Defence confirmed that Washington withdrew from the AWACS replacement effort in July, prompting the Netherlands and several European partners to abandon the joint plan.

It reminds me of a sketch around "we demand". Found it: the Hitch Hiker "Demands of the Philosophers". https://youtu.be/GHZzh2Wv9lg?t=51 (View Post)2 -

The assertion is: "One in five or one quarter of pensioners are millionaires." I think that qualifies as debunked. (I'm stopping there; we will not agree on this.) (View Post)1 -
Re: Finishing last in Gorton & Denton – politicalbetting.com
That was debunked in 2024 afaics. The claim actually seems to relate "pensioners who live in households with a total household wealth of more than £1 million". https://fullfact.org/online/p… (View Post)1 -

Unlike Bobajob Jenrick, Mad Nad, "uniparty" Rosindell, The Leeanderthal Man, and the rest, "Flip Decisively" is something the Katie Lam has entirely failed to do so far. (View Post)1
