Agree on stamp duty. But I don’t think that’s the case on a property tax - even just floating the idea is going to make housing less attractive as an investment. (View Post)1 -

A property tax would be very simple to set up (and far simpler than council tax). It's a LVT that would be tricky, and that why I lean towards the former, even if the latter is better in princip… (View Post)1
